Sensory Friendly Formation & Liturgy
A welcoming church experience sensitive to the sensory needs of people on the Autism Spectrum.

Sensory-Friendly worship services feature therapeutic materials, sensory aids and a relaxed and tranquil settin.

Designed for young people on the Autism Spectrum, Sensory-Friendly worship is open to everyone, including siblings, friends, or anyone who'd like to experience an innovative and relaxed way to worship.

Rejoicing Spirits is a joyful and spirited celebration in the Lutheran tradition, and includes participation opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.

Don't worry about behaviors - we are low-key, relaxed and non-judgmental!

A Ministry of Social Justice
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14

A Ministry of Awareness - A Special Grace seeks to raise awareness in the church of the issues facing Autism Spectrum families, including barriers to church attendance and participation.

A Ministry of Inclusion– A Special Grace engages in campaigns for full inclusion in the church of children, teens, youth and adults on the Spectrum.

Although our ministry is recognized by the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, we receive no funding from any parish or Diocese. It's not that we are adverse to funding -- just that our congregation falls into the area of "Emerging Church" and is very different from a traditional parochial ministry. If you'd like to help fund this ministry, we would gratefully accept your donation. ALL donations are 100% used for supplies for the website or for worship services. Thank you!!
